Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the facts are so delightful. So while there’s still places to go… wow, this really fell apart. XD

We’ve got cheaters (in motorsports.) We’ve got body horror (in the classic children’s tale, Rudolph?!) Possibly sowing some wild oats (in the wintertime.) What more could you ask for? As always, admission is FREE. Order food & drinks to enjoy while you check out entertaining presentations from your fellow nerds.

We’ve got a bit of a European flair this month with presentations on Northern Ireland, Irish Whiskey, and Lego-Based Logic. We’ve also graduated to the (slightly) bigger leagues. Now that we’re so popular we’ll be in the main room for November. So bring your friends — the more, the nerdier!

Who’s got two thumbs, a free Wednesday evening, and a desire to share a beautiful night of learning out on a patio? This nerd! (And hopefully you.)

In addition to our al fresco setting, we have an extremely special line-up for you this month. We’re hosting our first ever Lightning Talks! We’ve got ten–yes that’s TEN–of our favorite nerds giving fast and furious 5-minute talks on everything from Oscar Wilde to yarn sports, Citizen Science to hyperlocal government. Can’t wait to nerd out with you all!

July’s Nerd Nite Cancelled

Unfortunately, we have to CANCEL the July edition of Nerd Nite. The folks we were hoping to have present realized it’s summer and they’re busy having fun somewhere else!

Not to worry, we’ve almost got a full slate for our Nerd Nite Out Event on Wednesday, August 14, featuring Lightning Talks. Please let us know ASAP if you’re interested in giving a 5-minute presentation.
